And remember that we have the best beach locations in the wecamp destinations for a weekend in an eco camping: the elegant Playa de la Concha at wecamp San Sebastián, the emblematic Port Lligat with its boats in front of the Salvador Dalí House Museum at wecamp Cadaqués,
the beautiful beach of S'Agaró with its little bathers' houses or the small coves of Sant Feliu de Guíxols at wecamp Santa Cristina or at wecamp Cala Montgó, a wild cove of turquoise water surrounded by trees in L'Escala, are without doubt the best decamping destinations on the Costa Brava.
You don't need an invitation to celebrate this holiday, what can I do? What can I do? Here are the best tips for beach preservation:
Get to the beach on foot, by public transport or by bicycle.
Enjoy water activities that do not pollute the sea: sailing, paddle surfing, kayaking... If you go snorkelling or scuba diving, respect the seabed.
Collect waste on the sand or in the sea and recycle it in separate collection bins.
If you take a picnic with you, use ecological or recyclable containers and avoid single-use plastic and use reusable bottles.
Do not litter or throw away cigarette butts.
All you have to do is decide on the wecamp destinations.
wecamp Cadaqués, due to its geographical location in Cap de Creus and its geology, is characterised by the most abrupt coves. The most outstanding seascapes are Cala Guillola, sunny and not very large with crystalline waters, Sa Sabolla, with slate rocks, Cala Jugadora, divided into two parts, one with stones and the other more sandy. Sa Conca, characterised by its depth, and finally, Playa des Llanes de Gran i Petit, located in the centre of the town, offering excellent views of this coastal landscape.
wecamp Cala Montgó, with its rounded shape, has been awarded the blue flag and is located near the Montgrí natural park, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter.
The sandy cove of Illa Mateua, one of the biggest tourist attractions, is situated in the south of L'Escala. Pedrigolet beach is a small pebble cove located on the coast of Ampurias. Riells is a beach with deep waters and fine sand, perfect for children. It is located in the middle of the tourist area of Riells, with a wide range of services and water sports. Finally, El Bol Roig is a natural cove with large stones, located inside the natural area of the Planasses.
wecamp Santa Cristina d'Aro, located in the south of Baix Empordà, borders on the Gironés and Selva regions. Its beaches include Cala Canyerets, surrounded by vegetation and made up of coarse, reddish sand. La Cala del Senyor Ramon, with cliffs of up to 800 metres and crystal-clear waters.
Santa Cristina also has La Cala de Port Salvi, which is ideal for the more adventurous as it is very rich for scuba diving. Finally, Sant Pol beach, one of the most popular, is a bay open to the sea with shallow waters, highly recommended for families.
The beaches of Donostia-San Sebastián have traditionally been one of the city's identifying features, especially due to their markedly urban location of wecamp San Sebastián. One of the most beautiful beaches is the Playa de la Concha, shaped like this peculiar shell, with fine salt sand and a very pronounced vegetation. San Sebastian also has Ondarreta Beach, with calm waters and fine sand. Zumaiako Hondartza beach is surrounded by cliffs that make their presence felt. One of the longest beaches with more than 2km is Zarauz, with fine sand and calm waters.
wecamp Cabo de Gata is, without a doubt, one of the best wecamp destinations. Located in Almeria, in a spectacular bay with a fishing atmosphere. An enclave where you can enjoy the marine and terrestrial fauna at any time of the year.
It is surrounded by the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It is located in the vicinity of Cala del Cuervo, with golden sand and low occupancy. Also the Arrecífe de las Sirenas, of a special magnetism located next to the lighthouse of Cabo de Gata, will surprise you with its sharp silhouette that opens its way in the middle of the force of the sea. Or the Cueva de las Palomas, one of the greatest jewels of the coastline with its crystalline waters and diverse seabed. A volcanic space, full of contrasts, to discover from the heights or with kayak routes from the sea.
And don't forget that you can enjoy the sea with sustainable activities that we at wecamp have prepared that promote the respectful use of the beaches and environments that you will find in our shop.
